These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the open-source deep linking library tool: Detour ("Product") provided by Software Mansion. User means anyone who uses the Product to build deep linking functionality into their applications and is responsible for its proper and secure use. By using the Product, the User accepts these Terms and acknowledges that Software Mansion is not liable for any damage resulting from the Product’s use. End Users (consumers) who use or interact with a product or service of applications built with the Product do not have claims against Software Mansion. All liability and claims from End Users fall solely on the Users who implement the Product.
The Product is a developer tool. The User acknowledges that the Product is not intended for use with sensitive or critical data.
The User uses the Product at their own risk. Software Mansion is not liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Product.

IN NO EVENT SHALL SOFTWARE MANSION BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, HOWEVER CAUSED, AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF SOFTWARE MANSION HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE USER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY DISPUTE WITH SOFTWARE MANSION IS TO CEASE USE OF THE PRODUCT.
The product is provided "as is" and "with all faults," without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Software Mansion hereby disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Software Mansion does not warrant that the product will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. The user agrees that they are solely responsible for all costs and expenses associated with any rectification, repair, or damage caused by any defects, errors, or interruptions.
The User agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Software Mansion, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, as well as their respective Management Board, Supervisory Board and employees (collectively, the "Indemnified Parties"), from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
This indemnification obligation will survive termination of these Terms and the User’s use of the Product.
The User is solely responsible for securing their devices, data, and managing permissions related to the use of the Product. The User is solely responsible for any End User content and Software Mansion expressly disclaims all liability arising from or connected with the End User Content.
We recommend not using the Product to process or link devices containing sensitive data (such as medical, financial, or personal data requiring special protection). The User should carefully consider the risks associated with such uses and take appropriate precautions.
Our Product enables deferred deep linking, a process that allows users who open your application for the first time (after installing it via a link) to be directed to the intended in-app destination and to have associated campaign or referral data attached to their session. To do this, our library collects and transmits certain identifiers and contextual information between the administrative panel and your application. When the user launches the app, our system uses this data to match the original link or campaign to that user or event, so they can be routed correctly and attributed (in a manner similar to services such as Appsflyer or Branch).
Because of the nature of this technology—including differences between operating systems, privacy settings, or platform limitations —matching cannot be guaranteed to be 100% accurate. The matching process is based on the user data, such as:
In some cases, a link may not be correctly matched to a user, or the transmitted data may be incomplete.
Additionally, as our Product supplies the tool but not the full implementation, the responsibility for correct configuration, secure transmission of data, and compliance with legal requirements lies with the User. The User must ensure that the library is implemented in their application properly (according to the documentation) and that any data sent to or received from the Product is handled securely and appropriately in their context.
Software Mansion reserves the right to update, modify, or suspend the Product without prior notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. In case of disputes, the user agrees to resolve them before the court competent for the seat of Software Mansion.
